Blue eyeliner, or eye make up more generally, hasn't had the best reputation in the past but is going through somewhat of a renaissance.

The striking blue eyeliner appeared in Derk Lam's s/s 2014 show, and Estée Lauder's Creative Makeup Director Tom Pecheux described the trend as something which was inspired by architecture that he had seen over the summer months.

The navy blue hues are slightly softer than the harsh black liner which is seen more frequently. And the swap to a simple blot of inky blue can modernise your make up in an instant.
